Greetings, Lords & Ladies!

I’m so honored that you’ve decided to visit. I hope your stay here will be as enjoyable for you as it is for me. Please feel free to kick off your shoes, grab a Sprite from the fridge, and let’s get started, shall we?

“You will never do anything in this world without courage.
It is the greatest quality of the mind next to honor.”  – Aristotle

People are always curious about my life.  How do I get through my day?  How do I take care of my royal family?  How do I travel?  What are my struggles? My strengths?  My victories? My defeats?
These are rather bizarre questions to the casual observer.  Honestly, I find them a bit strange, myself.  I’m certainly no celebrity.  I’ve honestly never done anything super note-worthy or earth-shattering.  But, let me explain.
When people see me for the first time, they rarely see me but rather, my wheelchair.  Yes, I have legs, but they’re just mostly there for extra bling.  I can stand and walk a little bit.  I’ll even use forearm crutches if I’m feeling especially Wonder Woman-ish.  But, for the most part, when I go for a stroll, the ‘st‘ is usually silent!
For me, it’s not a big deal.  It’s all I know.  But, for some strange reason, even total strangers constantly and consistently want to know about the intimate details of my life (well, not TOTALLY intimate – this IS a family-friendly site!)  So, here goes!
I’ll be sharing all the ways of ‘finding a bubbly side to life on the rocks’.  Meaning – finding joy in the journey, regardless of any struggles.  I hope it’s interesting for you.  If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.  If anything, I want this new adventure we’re on to be a positive one.  I want to show people that, if I can do it, so can you!
Oh, and before I forget (because I seriously have the attention span of a gnat sometimes!) please check out my other handy-dandy treasures on the web. I’ve got a FaceBook group (Keep The Castle), a YouTube Channel (Sprite Queen), and I even have a Zazzle store (Royal Treasury).  See?  No stoppin’ royalty!  I hope you’ll come along for the ride.  Are you ready?  Then, let’s ROLL!

My name is Mindy Jacobsen. It's a rare occasion that I can leave my house without someone being curious about my life. Well, mainly my wheelchair. How do I have a successful marriage, raise my royal family, and do all the things necessary for running my castle without the use of my legs? Isn't it HARD? That's what this blog is all about. Come with me and I'll fill you in on all the details of finding a bubbly side to life on the rocks!
